121st Freedom Old Home Week
Ice Cream Social, Thursday August 8, 6:00pm – 7:30pm
With TBD. At the Town Offices & Gazebo, 33 Old Portland Rd.
Come join us on the Thursday evening of Old Home Week for an event that brings joy to multiple senses!
- Hear a unique blend of old-time and new folk tunes with intricate harmonies from TBD.
- See the beautifully restored bandstand in front of the Freedom Town Office, and the smiling faces of your friends and neighbors.
- Taste the mouth-watering flavors of a creamy ice cream sundae with all the fixings.
- Smell the scents of summer: flowers, ice cream, hot fudge, a dog or two, and bug spray.
And don’t forget to dance if you feel like it!
The 2019 Ice Cream Social will be on Thursday, August 8 at the Freedom Town Offices on 33 Old Portland Rd from 6 PM to 7:30 PM. Please bring chairs, blankets and/or towels, and get comfortable! In case of rain, it will be inside the Masons Lodge. Ice cream sundaes will be prepared to your liking and sold (for a reasonable fee) by the Masons. Also, there will be a 50/50 raffle sponsored by Freedom Old Home Week Committee; you must be present to win.
There is plenty of parking along Old Portland Rd; only those with handicapped permits in the town office lot, please.
